Your data stays yours.
Aura Code runs on your machine and works on your files. This page states plainly what we collect, what we never touch, and what happens when you connect a hosted model.

What stays on your machine
- Conversations, agent memory, files, and configuration live locally. We do not operate a server that receives them, so we cannot read, sell, or lose them.
- Provider API keys are stored on your device and are sent only to the provider you configured — nowhere else.

What leaves your machine
- Only what you point Aura at: prompts and file context sent to the model provider you chose (hosted API or local inference server). That traffic is between you and that provider, under their privacy policy.
- Crash-free by default: we ship no telemetry, analytics, or usage tracking.

Purchases
- Checkout and payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy. We receive your email address and licence status, and nothing else about the transaction.
